Fancy Privacy List

Requirements

This module requires webtrees 1.7.0 or later.

Description

This module is for site admins only. It shows a datatable list with all individuals in your family tree where you can review the privacy settings of each individual. With this module it is easy to check if your privacy settings are correct.

Access the list by clicking in the Control Panel menu on Modules/Module administration and search for Fancy Privacy Settings. Click on the link to open the Fancy Privacy page.

You can now view the current status of each individual in your family tree: living, presumably still alive, death and presumed death or one of the custom RESN tags you set on the individual. The list also shows the accessibility of each individual and an explanation why a certain status or privacy setting is applicable.

You can filter or sort the list. Clicking on a row will give you the raw GEDCOM data of the chosen individual which you can edit directly. To edit the raw GEDCOM data just click on one of the links (ID’s) to open the ‘edit raw gedcom’ popup screen.

Warning: this module is only tested in my own family tree with about 2000 individuals. I don’t give any guarantees of the performance of this module on large or very large trees.
